Modding The Nintendo Switch Is Awesome, But There Are Consequences…

Shiny Quagsire, a prominent member of the Nintendo Switch homebrew community had his Nintendo Switch banned from online services on his modded Nintendo switch. To circumvent this, Shiny purchased another (unmodded) Nintendo Switch console thinking he will be able to use his account to gain access to all of Nintendo’s online services. However, he quickly found out that his online ban was not just correlated to his modded console. The ban was attached to his account. So once he attempted to sign on with the same account on his new, vanilla Nintendo Switch, he was once again banned from using the online services on the new console. Do you think this is fair?
