Dueling PS4 and Xbox One bundles are incredibly cheap on Amazon Prime Day

The last minutes of Amazon Prime Day 2017 in the US have proven to hold tremendous deals for XBox One and PS4 gamers that haven't expired yet.

Case in point, this cheap $229 PS4 bundle on Amazon with more games and freebies than you usually get on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It's a bargain that's ending at midnight tonight PT / 3AM ET.

An even better value is the $239 Xbox One bundle with three games and a lot more. Again, these are usually Amazon deal held for Christmas online shopping.

It appears as if Sony and Microsoft are battling it out during this invented holiday, giving you a choice between the two consoles, as a cheaper alternative to the PS4 Pro and upcoming Xbox One X.

Why PS4 and Xbox One bundles are a deal

These Amazon Prime  Day exclusive video game console bundles have a lot to them, but we still have a little bit of time to explain what's inside the boxes.

The Xbox One S bundle with a 500GB hard drive includes three free games (all digital downloads): Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5 and Recore. There are two wireless controllers, and a very convenient Play & Charge Kit to juice the gamepad batteries back to 100%.

The PS4 bundle also with a 500GB hard drive is a grand gaming and entertainment package. It includes the usual Uncharted 4 but also, only for Prime Day 2017, also comes with The Last of Us and Comixology digital comics: Star Wars (2015) #1, Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #1, Mass Effect Discovery #1, Valiant High #1, and Adventure Time Marshall Lee Spectacular.

You can't go wrong with either Amazon Prime Day deal. Unless of course you don't have a Prime subscription or you wait until Wednesday July 12.
